Dear Coach,
I wanted to touch base with you regarding
what’s happening at Rivershore for the 2009 season!
We officially open the season on
Friday, March 13th
with a Triple Header round robin for $49.
For those of you in the Bash for Cash – this will be a
good warm-up for the weekend!
Saturday and Sunday,
March 14th & 15th
we will be hosting the USSSA Men’s D-NIT leg of the Bash
for Cash. (If you would like to register for the Bash
for Cash event, please visit
www.kolpingpark.com or call Bill Chard at Kolping
Park at 513-851-5657. The registration deadline is
Saturday, March 7th at 8:00 pm)
On Friday
March 20th, Friday, March 27th, Monday
through Friday, March 30th thru April 3rd,
we will host Men’s Double Header warm-up for $39 (these
are no frills, no awards just an opportunity to get the
gang together to get some swings in!) Book your spot
now as we will only take 8 teams per evening! Co-Ed
teams interested in participating in any of the evenings
please give me a call.
Saturday, March 21st
is our Sweatshirt Round Robin. The winner will receive
a set of Sweatshirts. Cost is $125 per team.
On Tuesday
evening – March
24th we will host our annual
Coaches Meeting at the
Holiday Inn – Airport, just off Mineola Pike
and I-275. The meeting will start promptly at 6:30 pm.
If your team has registered for leagues at Rivershore –
you will be able to pick up your Managers Packet, Rule
books and Scorebooks. If you haven’t registered for
league play you may do so online by going to this link:

anytime between now and Friday, March 28th!
Don’t get shut-out of the evening you want as we are
beginning to close out several leagues.
Saturday evening, March 28th
we are hosting a Men’s “Play for Free”
round robin for $99. The winner will get their entry
fee returned!
Saturday evening April 4th
is our final Men’s Spring Season Warm-Up Round Robin
before the spring season gets underway!
Sunday, April 5th through
Friday, April 10th
our spring leagues begin with the practice round of
games. Schedules will be posted on the web site and you
will be notified of your first week’s game times – again
by email. Once we have observed everyone in the league
– to make sure you aren’t in the wrong division for your
team, we will post the remainder of the season’s
schedules.
We are still looking for a couple of
teams that would like to participate in our New
Wednesday Night Men’s Major
league – 6HR limit and our Monday
evening – Wooden Bat
League!
We are excited as we approach the new
season and look forward to servicing your team at
Rivershore Sports Complex! Our staff is busy working to
make sure things are in tip-top shape!
