Spring, Summer & Fall Programs

Team Information |
|
1. |
Spring & Summer league games will be
scheduled on Monday, Tuesday and/or Wednesday
evenings. Rivershore Sports Complex will work with
managers to attempt to accommodate their needs for
scheduling. Fall leagues typically play on
either Saturday or Sunday - 10U, 12U - Saturday,
14U, 16U & 18U - Sundays. |

2. |
Registration is open
to both the Individual player (see below for more
information) and full Teams with
recreational and competitive divisions offered. (In
the event there are not enough teams registered for
either division, the park reserves the right to
combine divisions, but will communicate with teams
prior to combining.) |

3. |
Games will be played
under the 2008 ASA rules with league amendments as
follows:
| a. |
Teams
may use a continuous batting order,
batting all players in their line-up. |
| b. |
Teams
shall be allowed unlimited
substitutions. |
| c. |
In the
event a team goes ahead by 8 runs, a
“lop-sided rule” will take affect.

Lop-sided rule: No team shall be allowed
to score more than 6 runs per inning
once the 8-run rule has been reached.
Once the 6th run has scored, teams will
switch offense / defense. This allows
teams to play for their entire one hour
and twenty minute time limit. |

4. |
League fees are due
and payable prior to a team taking the field.

League fees

Team League
registration - $125 (Covers the cost of
8-10 games, rule books, scorebooks, game
balls, and awards.) |

ii. |
Umpire
fees – payable on the field prior to
game start (teams will have the option
of a two-man or single man umpire system
– based upon a majority vote of coaches
/ managers.) |

iii. |
Rivershore will require each team to be
ASA sanctioned and provide proof of team
insurance. If you don’t have team
insurance, complete details are
available on the Metro Cincinnati ASA –
Youth Program web site at
www.metrocincinnati-asa.com. If your
team has a policy in place, you must
provide a photo copy along with your
team registration form and payment.
Teams will also be required to leave a
signed ASA Waiver / Roster in the league
office. |

5. |
Games will be
scheduled at 6:00 pm, 7:30 pm and 9:00 pm each
night. |

6. |
Teams will play
either a single game or double header during league
play but not more than one night per week unless
communicated otherwise. |
|
7. |
Non players must
abide by the gate policy. Two Coaches and players will
be given a pass to enter at no charge. |
|
8. |
Teams must know that
youth games will be scheduled at the park during our
adult league program. |
|
9. |
Games may be
scheduled on the inner diamonds or outer fields. |
|
